My fascination with the spiritual world started at an early age with Astrology. Not just the horoscopes that you read in magazines, but really exploring the information within astrological chart wheels; ascendant signs, the position of certain planets at the time of birth, etc. There is a lot that we can discern from this information and it reveals a great deal of our personalities. It demonstrates truth and value that we simply cannot deny. I have studied this for a long time - and will for a long time to come - and have always learnt something new with every foray into discovery. My studies have led me to conclude that a large part of someone's personality and life path is predetermined.

I find that the astrology of the Mayans is also intriguing. The 20 Solar Seals, 13 Tones, Moons and, of course, 260-day Galactic Calendar (Tzolkin) are just as informative as the traditional astrology that we know to exist and currently use in our daily lives. Mayan astrology contains undeniable truth and relevance. The knowledge of someone's Star Sign, Solar Seal and related assignations is very important to me, as it provides me with a clear view of what motivates a person.

My interest in Tarot began at the age of 16. I find it extraordinary! Not only because there are people able to predict the future using their Tarot skill, but also because of the ancient symbolism that you find in the Rider Waite deck. What I have learnt from understanding various Tarot techniques is that symbolism is very important. What do you see in a Tarot card? What is the first thing that you notice on the card? What are the colours that spring to your attention? Of course, every card has its own definite meaning but what you see for yourself when you first look at the card is equally important. That it is possible to predict a certain future event in your life from a particular point in time is a secondary concern. For me, Tarot is a reflection of the subconscious mind and mirrors the soul. This understanding reveals itself as soon as the cards are laid on the table - real meaning and tangible action come second.

At the age of 27, after completing two rather intense personality training workshops, I learnt that a person can blame a lot of external influences when life turns on them. However, I believe that it actually starts with our own attitude for and in life. At this point in my life, astrology was still much more than an interest but it did not fully complement my talent - I felt that there was more I could do. Tarot, on the other hand, was absolutely my 'thing'. I bought decks to support my Rider Waite deck - for example, Osho Zen, the Goddess Oracle and Gemstone Tarot.

At this point, a good friend gave me the Transformation Game® as a gift. The game is a beautiful way to analyse personal blockages and habits by asking a clear question at the start of the game. By playing the game myself and with others, I found that I have a gift for clarifying situations from little information and can easily see the 'big picture'. Therefore I can get to the heart of a matter quickly and in a manner that is understandable for all involved in the game.

I was intensely occupied with developing my skills in the techniques mentioned above and, as time passed, I discovered that the energy flowing through my hands was remarkable. I found that I was able to help people experiencing pain. By putting my hands on the affected area the discomfort would ease and in most cases, disappear completely. Another talent discovered? I intuitively felt that this was the case and wanted to explore this new ability in greater depth.

In the summer of 2004, I stumbled across a website which offered the education that I was looking for: learning how to channel energies for healing and developing my intuition. I enrolled myself on the 2-year program in Amsterdam and successfully concluded this education.

Through a fellow student I met a therapist who taught me how to work with Cosmic & Flower Energies®. My interest in these products has grown from that point onwards.

Through the Cosmic & Flower Energies® website, I discovered that the creators of the product organise spiritual trips to Egypt. In 2007 I took part in a 13-day Transformation Game, harnessing these remarkable and powerful energies in order to connect with my inner source.

Healing, Tarot, the Transformation Game® and the Cosmic & Flower Remedies® have became the tools I work with in my surgery in order to help people who are in need of insight and comfort in their lives.
